This year the implementation of Tavrida Electric reclosers on the North American continent continued. To begin with, we should mention new automation solutions that were presented at one of the reputable U.S. exhibitions - DistribuTech in San Diego, and that were well received by the American customers of the company. Switching module OSM 27_Al_2 with SEL-651R control cabinet aroused great interest of the visitors. The solution was presented for the first time. Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories , LTD (SEL), the North American market leader in protection and automation, has adapted its popular SEL-651R recloser control cabinet for use with Tavrida Electric's OSM/TEL series 15kV and 27kV switching modules. It is important that the cabinet controls the recloser drive directly and receives measurement signals from built-in current and capacitive voltage sensors (i.e. fully compatible).
